The minister's pulpit chair (Gothic) and sofa are typical of the massive furniture in vogue during the mid-victorian period and were used in the old stone church located at the corner of Washington and Capitol Streets during its existence from 1904 to 1925. It may have also been used in predecessor churches of Baptist Temple.
