Our weekly Youth meeting will be on Thursdays from 7-8:30, so feel free to drop by if you'd like!
I’d like to give you an idea of some upcoming events in the youth ministry. We’ll be taking part in the 30 Hour Famine in March. We will be having a lock-in at the church on March 23-24 (8PM-8AM). Our goal is to raise $1,500 to send to a country through the 30 Hour Famine organization. We need your help! If you’re interested in sponsoring a teenager for this project, please e-mail me so we can get something set up for you! Also, if you would be willing to spend a few hours at the church to volunteer throughout the night, we would really appreciate it.
Another very exciting event on the way is a new contemporary service that we are starting! This service will be on the last Saturday of every month at 5PM, starting on March 31. This service will be an adaptation of the former Lighthouse that was held in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a time of worship and I will be preaching. This service will be geared specifically towards young adults and teenagers, but of course everyone is welcome! There will be more information forthcoming in the next few weeks. If you'd like to help out with this service be sure to let me know so we can get you involved! I'm very excited about the great things on the horizon for the youth ministry.
